Ladies first, Eric had said after dismising the twin bimbos of the night but Pam took a moment look at Gabe the way her maker was. After a brief pause, she let out a chuckle and walked into the office, followed by both men.
It looked like one of the girls forgot to pick up her black lace panties off the black leather couch. It was easily missed by their human eyes but, of course, a vampire's was much sharper. She turned her back on the couch and sat herself on one of the chair facing Eric's desk instead and listened as Gabe began.
He hadn't gotten very much out, though, before Pam snorted with disgust. "Elite?" she said with a disbelieving voice tainted with mockery. "They certainly think highly of themselves."

Eric snorted a laugh. "I have been a little busy. But just because someone gives themselves a name does not mean I have reason to have concern. Names rarely mean anything. I could start calling Pam 'Fluffy Kitty' but we would all know better now wouldnt we." he said and gave Pam a wink.
He turned his gaze back to Gabe, "Go on."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "They have they're reasons for seeing themselves so highly. As do those who follow their orders." he rebuked at Pam. "They've been known be other names throughout the ages. 'The Elite' is merely an attempt at streamlining." he informed. Then he returned his gaze to Eric.
"For the past five to six thousand years, they've been responsible for the fall of many........unworthy vampire regimes." He paused. "And 'The Authority' has pissed off a great deal of vampires. Simply stepping in and assuming power. It's caused alot of unwanted ripples in our society. They intend on removing 'The Authority' completely. Though that action is still years from coming to full circle." he stopped.
"You have a reputation for questioning they're power. And my employer's wouldn't mind having you on their side." he ended.

Pam really hated Gabriel. Nobody could talk to her like that! Well, maybe Eric, but even he doesn't. If her maker regards her with respect, why doesn't this lame excuse for the undead? She bit her tongue though, because she doubted Eric would be please if he didn't get to hear what he wanted right away. After all, he promised the Swedish bimbo twins he'll only be 10 minutes.
By the end of the little speech, Pam was glad she didn't attack him; this was an interesting idea. She looked at her maker, waiting for his thought on the matter.

Eric kept his gaze and his body language neutral but his jaw was working as he listened to Gabe. He folded his arms and walked over to stand by Pam. "I don't question the 'Authoritys' power. I don't know where you heard that." he didnt know if what this guy was saying was true or if it was some sort of trap to get him into trouble with the authority.
"Even if I did, coming into my nest, disrespecting me, my progeny, and my establishment is no way to request my alliance in any matter." He gave Gabe a pointed look. "If, and this is purely hypothetical, if I were to agree to being "on their side', what makes you think I would discuss it with someone who has no respect for his elders?" He walked over to the door of his office. "How about this. You get out of my site, and come back when you learn some respect." He opened the door and waited. "Tell your emplyer I don't discuss matters of this nature with trained monkeys."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "How about this." he mocked and pulled out a small card and laid it on his desk. "You keep this in case you change your mind. But the Authority will fall, with or without you." he said and began walking towards the door. But He stopped just short, where he could face Eric. Gabe didn't fear the true death, that in itself made him lethal.
"By the way, respect. Its earned, not given just because or your age, or place of power for that matter. And neither you nor she..." he gave a quick glance to Pam. "have done anything to earn it." he smiled finishing his exit.
He pulled out his cell and hit the speed dial. And waited for an answer. "Δώσε μου Νίνα." he said and waited until he heard her voice. "Θα χρησιμοποιηθεί για να σκοτώσει τα βαμπίρ ηλικίας του και άνω κατά την αφύπνιση Νίνα μου, στείλτε Χαλιμά να μιλήσω μαζί του. Αν έχω να το κάνω ο ίδιος θα καταλήξετε λείπει." he finished, the Greek language rolled naturally over his tongue. Then he flipped the phone shut and began walking towards the door.

Pam wasn't surprised at all that Eric threw Gabe out. In fact, she was glad he did. But she did find it a little odd that he hadn't grabbed the opportunity for a new alliance. Her maker was nothing if not a gifted politician and an alliance with The Elite, if they were as powerful as their little lap dog made them out to be, then it would definitely be a worthwhile friendship.
She watched from Eric's side as the vampire walked out and made a call. Now, she didn't understand a stich of Greek but she could tell by his tone of voice that nothing good could come of that call. So, despite her aggitation at the incredibly rude comments Gabriel had made about her and her maker, she followed her gut and called out, "Wait!"

Eric looked at Pam and lifted an eyebrow. "Pam? What are you doing?" he asked. It was unlike Pam to contradict him so he was sure thats not what she was about to do. Was it? "People truely who want alliances act with more diplomacy. I fail to see that here." he said in an annoyed tone. "I'm not letting myself fall into a trap." he added.

Gabe stopped. He was in a rush, and he stopped. This was his job. So he turned around slowly. And gave a look. "My diplomacy isn't exactly with me tonight. I have a flight to Venice to catch in an hour." he informed. His son was in danger and dealing with what he viewed as meaningless right now.He really wanted to get out of here and handle the problem. Which, right now Gabe didn't think they needed to know just yet, not if he brought back some back-up.
