"You could expect many things from a vamp." he smiled. She had spirit. And didn't back down at the sight of him like most did. That was something to be admired. But now he wanted to know what made her feel so safe out here. And give him an excuse to put his hands on her at the same time. In the blink of an eye he closed the distance between them. Holding her by her wrists, held up. His grip was firm, but gentle. He moves held no aggression in them. And he looked down so he could stare her in the eyes. "What makes you so safe?" he smiled.

Hana stared at him, she wasn't used to being so close to someone. When she was it wasn't her choice. "Lets just say I can stand my own in a fight." She'd killed those who meant harm to her, apparently demons blood was better than the Fey's. But then again, she was only a half blood.

"So? You could be damn good in a fight and still be overpowered." he said. He knew that fact himself. When it came to taking down an opponent he had experience in these matters. The girl had strength and spirit. And it had its own turn on. But he was willing to see what she thought of him. And he wanted it to be obvious to her, just to find out her own thoughts. But how to do so was the question. His thought swam around. Conceiving a plan or sorts. And then it came to mind what he would say and do.
He stepped up. Leaning in. Just keeping inches away from her. "I feel somehow drawn to you. It like flies to honey. It somehow intoxicating." he smiled. And his set his snare. Waiting to see what she thought about it. And to see if she would take the bait, and find him acceptable.

Hana tilted her head in response, was he attracted to her, or her blood? She'd heard things such as that from other vampires, but they never dared to get so close to her. Hana smiled, it was somewhat cat like. "My scent or my personality?" She dared to ask, she was rather curious. Her mother warned her when she became a teenager that some vampires would do that. It wasn't that she minded some one drinking off of her, she let Max do it a couple of times. Then again, he was like a brother to her. She trusted him completely.

He gave a smirk at her questions. She was indeed fearless in her questions. And many vampires would be spiteful with her about it. Many of his kind held such a high opinion of themselves that he knew someone like Hana would probably bring them down to level. Something he would enjoy watching with a certain few of his kind. And now he suddenly wanted to take Hana to Fangtasia and introduce her to Pam. He just knew that would be a world of fun to watch. He gave a laugh at the thought. He wondered just how Pam would react being brought down a few levels.
But now he'd thought long enough about her question. And how he was going to answer it. And being Gabe, he'd be honest about it. "I'd have to say both." he said now walking away for her. "You don't let anyone assert themselves above you, I respect that." he clarified. Gabe's respect was obtained usually. He may have liked someone, or would would show a recognition of power and status. But not respect. "But you do have quite the scent. For a half-demon." he smiled. "Yea, I know what you are. I've come across your kind before. But it is mainly your scent. I haven't completely fed tonight." he informed. "But I am well in control of myself, so you need not be concerned of anything." he finished.

Hana stared at him when he said he knew exactly what she was, he was old. The first person to figure out what she was was at least a thousand. The fact that he admitted to not be completely fed surprised her the most. Yet she wasn't scared or worried in the least, it was when fangs were drawn that she knew something was wrong. "You must be one of the Old ones." Hana stated, they had the most comtrol and had time to have the younger respect them. "Scent is a rather tricky thing, all most all creatures use them. Some demons can even figure out what blood another is..." Every demon had a type, it defined what they could do and how they could be used. Hana was an Animal demon, she could speak or even turn into an animal. But at the same time, a vampire could use her blood to glamor shifters.

Gabe turned and gave her a look. Gabe had never really considered himself one of the 'Old Ones'. Mainly because he was much younger than many of the vampires he'd done work for. And out of that work, a good number of older vampires feared the day he would be hired to take care of them. But Gabe had a habit of not making a target out of a previous employer. Keeping them happy and alive often brought him repeat work. The same people often sought him out for his expertise. Although he didn't much like his line of work. But assassination was what he excelled at. It's he had been trained to do and held an exceptional skill for it. But even for him, going around killing people for profit took it toll in ways. Mainly he killed those who deserved they're death. But every so often, an innocent person got caught up in the mix..
"It's only because I've had an association with your kind before. He and I had quite the...........arrangement." he said, picking his words. But now Gabe truly did feel his age take hold. He'd known and loved many. In the end, they grew old and died. Or some simply died by other mortal means. But yet he continued on. He needed to take hid thoughts elsewhere, so he'd try to divert the conversation to something more in her lane. "Which makes me wonder just what you can do. He had a certain control over fire." he ended.

"Element Demon, when one comes of age they can use only one element. Depending on just what they are varies on their powers. Full Demons take about a year, half bloods sometimes take five. My mother was an Element Demon, she could control Light." Hana smiled, her mother always used her powers to her advantage. "The Myth of Helen of Troy is based on her. She went out with a Fire Demon named Helios."

He stood and listened to her as she spoke. He knew about demons and their types. He known a few in his lifetime. Most of which were still very good friends with him. They had made his work easier when it came to dealing with several problems. "I'll keep in mind." he spoke politely. Then his phone buzzed in his pocket. He reached for it and looked over it. After a moment or two of replying to the text, he turned to Hana. "If you'll excuse me, I must go." he said returning the phone to his pocket. He had somewhere to be to help out on old friend.

Hana shrugged, "It was nice meeting you Gabe." She side stepped so that she just barley slid past him without making actual contact. Her shoes making a light pitter patter. The wind blew downward. She took a deep breathe. "You will be a scent I don't think I'll forget." Hana turned on her heels and began to walk away. Holding her hand in the air for a brief moment, like a sloppy half hearted wave.
Just when she hit the edge of the forest her own phone rang, "Hello?" There was a pause, "Your so paranoid, I'm on my way back now...." Her voice drifted off as she got deeper into the forest.
