Plot/Story: Following the creation of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. Sookie Stackhouse is a telepath and waitress at Merlotte's in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps.Merlotte's is owned by shapeshifter, Sam Merlotte. One night, at work Sookie meets Bill Compton, a handsome and mysterious 173-year-old vampire who has returned to Bon Temps following the death of his last remaining relative. As she cannot hear his thoughts, she finds it easy to be in his company...Now that vampires are out of the coffin, and women are dying all around Sookie's brother Jason, what is to come of the small Bon Temps now? You know the outcome, lets change it a little?..
