Pam usually spent all of her waking hours working her ass off at Fangtasia. Of course, all the really entails is stnading there looking vampiric. For the most part, the job was very methodical. There were exceptions, though, like when unexpected guests pop in that need more attention than the lousy fangbangers that littered the interior of the Shreveport vampire bar every night. Other than that, and as much as she loved her second life as a vampire, she sometimes found it a little boring.
Tonight, she had asked for the night off. It may very welle had been the first time she asked for it since she rejoined Eric to work in Fangtasia. The last night off she had was forced on her. Eric had said that if he didn't know better, she was sure that Pan was PMS-ing so he sent her away for the night. She had ended up in Merlotte's then and thought she might as well go tonight.
On her way to the little restaurant where her friend, Sookie Stackhouse, worked, she passed by the little church in Bon Temps. She came to an abrupt stop in front of it; quite a sight, had anyone seen because she had been running at full vampire speed.
Pam turned to stare at the little building. It was just like as she remembered them to be in her mortal life. There were stained glass windows that let the sun in all the time and crosses everywhere. She closed her eyes and let herself be taken back to her old life where every Sunday, it was her responsibility to put in an insanely constricting dress and drag herself to the church with her parents. Involuntarily, a smile crossed her face.
Her trip down memory lane was interrupted by sounds she heard from just beyond the building. She hadn't taken the time to check if anyone else was around before she stopped in the middle of the empty street and lost herself in her past. She did know, now, that there was a human just behind that little brick box. "Show yourself!" she ordered.Pam Ravenscroft

Ian had had gotten all the way to Aaron's driveway when he realized he had left his sketchbook at the church. He'd been behaving and keeping to Aaron's at night. Keeping in his sight while he was awake. But now he was late, but he wasn't leaving that book anywhere. He had it set in his head to get back as fast as he could. And if anything went awry, he did leave a note as to where he'd be.
The road he took brought him up behind the little church. So he parked and began walking. But he had ducked down when he saw that he wasn't alone. That was until he was called out.
"Gimme one good reason." he shouted back.

The audacity! That was no was to talk to the Pam Ravenscroft. No, wait, that was no way for a human to talk to a vampire! Surely, whoever was behind the church had no idea who he was dealing with. "Because I said so," she said simply, though the vemon was think in her voice.
She waited a few seconds, which is a bit deal for a vampire to do. She really wasn't in the mood to fight with anyone at the moment, what with the memories she was just hit with, but should it come to that -- Pam was never one to walk away from a fight.Pam Ravenscroft

Ian couldn't help but to catch a laugh before it came out. And thankfully he was able to hold it in. And after a moment or two he was able to breathe again. "Ok. I know you didn't just pull that line on me." he chuckled. Yea, he noticed she was a vampire. But that was just priceless.
Ian knew he had to be careful. Neither Aaron, nor his dad was with him. He wasn't exactly safe in this state. But he wasn't going to let a vampire see him as anything lower in status to them. But he was only armed with a silver pendant and a steel, silver coated, throwing knife. But if this specific vampire knew how to actually fight, he'd be in for some trouble.

Pam had to hand it to the stranger, he didn't sound scared at all. Then again, all that means is either he had a death wish or that he was insane. Either way, she didn't like how she was being spoken to.
Using her full vampire speed, she ran the short way around the church. Before he even realized what she had done, she was behind him, fangs out, standing in a very threatening stance. "I would have warned you not to make me come back here," she said, "But I didn't think you derserved the warning."
Right then, Pam took a step forward, her hand aiming for his throat.Pam Ravenscroft

Once again, his cocky attitude had gotten him into trouble. Fortunately he was quicker than most humans. He spun around on his heels. Pulling out the knife he was armed with. And cut her across her palm, taking three steps back, giving himself some distance. The blade was razor sharp and coated in silver. According to his dad, it'd sting likre hell before it healed over. "Yea, and I could've warned you about me. Guess we both don't deserve aa few things." he smirked. The pendant hung freely around his neck
"I didn't exactly come here looking for trouble." he paused. "How about we dial this down?" he asked. Ready for an attack.

Pam assumed that whoever this person was had some experience dealing with vampires because that was the only explanation for how quickly he had reacted to her. So quick, in fact, that he was able to cut her across the palm with a little silver knife.
"Son of a bitch!" Pam shrieked. She was definitely not amused. Who the hell did this human think he was? Of coruse, he wouldn't know just how powerful a vampire he had just gone up against. Well, maybe Pam isn't as powerful as, say, Eric, but she was second in command the area, after all.
Her fangs out, she glared at him. "Well, too bad. Because you found trouble, honey."Pam Ravenscroft

He watched as she cursed at him for cutting her. She'd reached at him and he reacted in the only way he knew how.But as she spoke again Ian readied himself for another go at it. If she was going kill him he'd go down fighting. Though he was wishing he had Aaron with him right now. And this all started over him going to get his sketchbook. He found himself suddenly wishing he hadn't had such an attachment to it. But he did, it was the one thing he'd been able to keep up with till now. He'd been in a rush to get to Aaron's. He promised to stay out of harms way and here he was starting a fight with a vampire.
Though he didn't have a clue as to what he would do next. He'd already pissed her off and it didn't look like he'd be able to back out of this. "Technically you reached for me first, I simply defended myself. Vampire or not, no one pus they're hands on me without me letting them." he spoke.

Undoubtedly surprising the human, Pam let out a loud chuckle. "You think you're all that, don't you?" she said, causing another fit of giggles. She's never really had the opportunity to use that expression before because most of the people (vampires) she dealth with really were all that. Back in her time, she never could have imagined the way of speaking today's society has.
Although she was laughing, she didn't look any less threatening. Pam hadn't retracted her fangs nor has she backed of at all. She continued to taunt the boy, though genuinely curious now. What could possibly be making him this cocky? she wondered.Pam Ravenscroft

Ian rolled his eyes at her as she laughed with her statement. Yea, Ian knew he could be a little quick to act, but he never tried to appear like he was full of himself when going against someone. "No I don't. I'm simply not going to let you think I can be pushed around because your a vampire." he replied. Ian was about to let her think of him as anything lower than she was. "But you'd be highly surprised by what I can do if I need to." he continued.
He braced himself, ready for another attack if she moved towards him. He knew very well this woman could probably easily kill him. But he wasn't going to go down without a fight. And getting enough of her scent on him for both his dad and Aaron to follow. Ian didn't fear death. He knew that eventually it would happen. The wind picked up and blew at his back. Pushing his scent down towards her. And that's when it hit him. He hadn't showered lately. And Aaron's scent was bound to still be all over him. And Ian knew all to well the assumption that came with have a vampire's scent on you. Vampire's ttook a great deal of liberty with fangbangers. Biting them whenever they please, not even bothering to consider they're word on the topic.
But Aaron had not even tried to bite him. To his knowledge that is. Ian didn't exactly know as to whether his boyfriend craved for his blood. He gave Ian a great deal of care and consideration. And Ian loved him for it completely.
