Personality: Paul is a drug addict and his personality changes based upon whether he's had his fix or not. If he's loaded he is compassionate, talkative, loving, and calm. If he needs V he is irritable, paranoid, manic, and even violent. Deep down, Paul is a good person, but V has taken over his life, and he'll do anything to get it.

History Information

History: Ruxin's parents were a part of the hippie movement in San Francisco in the late 1960's. After almost a decade of taking LSD daily, they realized that they were lost and began looking for something new to be a part of. They moved to Kansas and became involved with a Mormon based cult. In the early 80's, they moved onto a compound with the cult community and had Ruxin shortly after.

Growing up on the compound wasn't easy. Their leader was a self appointed prophet named Byron who believed that he could speak to God. Ruxin was terrified of him. When Byron became angry, he would call all of the young boys on the compound to his house and beat them one by one with a wooden paddle. Byron was especially hard on Ruxin because he was attracted to Ruxin's mother. When Ruxin was 14, he woke up to find out that his father had been banished from the compound, and that his mother had been reassigned to marry Byron. Both Ruxin and his mother were devastated, but neither one could do anything about it. Two years later, Paul's mother became overwhelmed and hung herself. After his mother's death, Byron no longer had any use or sympathy for Ruxin, and banished him from the compound just like his father.

Ruxin, being confined to the compound all of his life, had no where to go. He lived in various foster homes until his 18th birthday, and was then forced to live on the street. He discovered liquor and heroin, which in turn caused him to discover auto theft and armed robbery. When vampires rose from the coffin, he tried vampire blood for the first time. From the moment he felt the effects of the drug it had complete control over him.

Now, ten years after leaving the compound and his life going no where, he has begun searching for his father. He recently discovered that his grandparents live in rural Louisiana, and has decided that would be as good a place as any to start.
