Sophie made her way into Fangtasia, as the Italian Kings aid she didn't wait on line. Besides, she had business to discuss with Pam, business that was planned. So they were expecting her, so her name was probably on the list. She stuck out like a sore thumb in the goth vamp bar. Her outfit was certainly far too expensive and contained much more colour then anyone else present. She wasn't wearing black leather, although her jacket was leather, it was brown with that delightful shine of new leather. Two hundred dollar blue jeans and a black top (okay she was wearing a little black!) adorned her as she made her way to the bar.
"I've got a meeting with Pam. Be a doll." She ~somewhat~ ordered to the vamp behind the counter. It wasn't out of disrespect or a sense of superiority to the vampires, she just worked with them all the time. She had never known life without vampires, she had no ignorance based fear of them nor any kind of fear. She had a meeting with Pam, someone had to let Pam know. It was that simple.
And if someone did hurt her for her "disrespect," the ancient and very powerful King of Italy would eviscerate them all and there would be basically nothing they could do about it. But she didn't let that mentally guide her actions, after all even if Ryan killed them all for hurting her or worst....that would still leave her hurt or worst. She didn't like worst. Not at all.

There were nights when Pam loved being in Fangtasia. At the bar that she co-owned, she can be as vampiric as she wanted to be without having to worry about toeing the line that society had placed between what's considered as acceptable vampire behavior and the worst vampire novel ever written. Here, since Eric was away so often, she was in charge. Everyone had to answer to her and meet her every demand.
Tonight was not one of them. She hadn't had a night off in a while and she longed for the freedom and silence that the deserted woods or lake would have to offer. Unfortunately, she was stuck. She had a business meeting with someone she's never even heard of. She knew that whoever it was worked for someone important but was obviously not imporatant enough herself because her name didn't ring a bell at all in Pam's little vault.
The phone rang in Eric's office, where Pam had recently taken to be alone and the bartender told her someone was looking for her. She assumed that this was the vampire she was waiting for so she hurriedly got up. She wasn't looking to impress the guest with her speed and hospitality or anything; she just wanted to get this meeting over with.
In seconds, she was at the door that divided the private offices and the bar proper. Pam cleared her throat and walked out, heading for the bar. She hadn't gone too far at all when a foreign and delectable scent reached her.
Turns out, Pam's guest wasn't a vampire at all!Pam Ravenscroft

Sophia was waiting even less time then expected, which wasn't long to begin with. Pam was pleasantly punctual. "Pam Ravenscroft I'll take it." Sophie started as she rose from the stool she had taken seat on, before offering a polite hand to the vampire woman who was running the establishment in Eric's absence.
"I'm Sophie Papoulias, personal aid to Ryan McCarthy, King of the Mezzogiorno. I'm taking care of most of his affairs while we're over here, and since we're staying in this Area he felt it would be prudent to establish a strong communication with the local authorities." she explained, keeping her tone straight and professional for now. She wasn't intimidated by Pam, even if the woman could snap her neck at a moments notice. That being said, vast majority of vampires could. If Sophie allowed that primal little capability intimidate her it would be impossible to get anything done. Besides, most vampires had a fantastic old world mentally to them. They didn't need to prove their dominance all the time against anyone present in the room like humans tended to do. Indeed, Sophie could live without the "pissing matches" of the mortal world.

Pam kept her eye on the stranger as she approached the bar where she sat. It took all her self contro not to jump her then and there. Whoever this woman was, she was undeniably of the Fae. Vampires and fairies really don't mix well together. This is mostly because vampires basically lose their self control when a fae is around. Their blood is sort of like a drug to vampires.
This is why Pam wondered why she dared come to Fangtasia at all. As she listened to the woman, who introduced herself as Sophie Papoulias, she was even more puzzled. Apparently, she worked for a vampire! Well, she certainly has a death wish, Pam thought as the girl went on.
"Yes," Pam answered as Sophie finished er little monologue. "It certainly is prudent to drop by and pay respects to those in charge." The vampire took a deep, though unneeded breath. She could taste the lovely sweetness of fae blood just from the scent she picked up. "Not sure how smart it was to have sent you, though."
Pam motioned for her guest to follow her to her favorite booth at one of the dark corners of the bar. There, less people would see what they were up to -- what she was up to.Pam Ravenscroft

Sophie listened to Pam, the Faerie couldn't recall saying she had called into pay respects, in fact Ryan had already called in for such reasons and Eric had yet to be available for such a thing. It was getting beyond rude in fact. You didn't treat aristocracy like that. "Don't worry about me. I have extensive training for things like this." And that training most certainly included keeping herself safe around vampires. If a group decided to swarm her it was likely she'd be able to do little, but attracting the attention of more then one at a time was unlikely, and few believed in the continued existence of the fairys. Even if she did give someone a bolt of her magic when they came at her, the sheer amount of warlocks, witches and wiccans in the area would throw up a cover story over "hey I'm a fairy, thats like crack to you right? Dig in!"

Apparently, this fairy thinks a lot of herself since she seems to believe that she doesn't need to be worried about being the presence of this many vampires. Pam knew that some fairies can mask their scent and this one seems to be able to do an ok job of it. After all, no other vampire has picked up on the fact that there was a delicious creature in their midst. Not yet, at least.
Pam motioned for Sophie to sit down and she, herself sat on the side facing the room. With a snap of her fingers, Pam summoned a waitress to their booth and ordered herself some TruBlood. If she was going to get through a conversation with this girl, she was going to have to be drinking something. The waitress, a clueless human, waited for Sophie's order.
"How long does this master of yours think he'll be staying in town?" Pam asked. The vampire hadn't really heard of person and she was rather curious about him. "Does he plan on coming to see Eric himself or does he just like sending over some food?"Pam Ravenscroft

When Pam ushered them to take a seat, Sophie was glad to do so. When it came to talking she much preferred to be sitting down or walking and talking. Standing just made the whole thing so uncomfortable. When the waitress came over and Pam ordered a True Blood, Sophie just asked for a Sol. She really had no idea what "human" drinks a place like that would serve but Sol was usually a safe bet.
"How long he'll stay is anyones guess, but I'd say he'll be here for a while. He doesn't really consider things in days and weeks anymore, usually its years. Something to do with being so old I'd imagine." He had been working on his last big project since Sophie was very young, it had taken him about twenty years to plan, execute, finalize and review. "He's already been here Pam, but Eric wasn't available. I'll give you some contact details so Eric can get back to him when it suits."

There was were a couple of things wrong with that statement. Pam enumerated them mentally.
[/li][li] Pam was not Eric's secretary to take 'contact information' [/li][li] Eric doesn't call people; people call Eric[/i][/color]Pam giggled; something she doesn't do very often. She just found it hilarious, most of all, that this fairy seemed to think that she was walking out of this bar unscathed. Boy, was she wrong! The vampire couls already see that some of her kind were starting to pick up on the scent that was coming off of her. Pam was looking over Sophie's shoulder at a vampire she didn't know, or care to know for that matter, who had actually gotten upto turn around and trace the source of that scent. She was still watching him when he zeroed in on the back of Sophie's head, realizing that it was her. Pam's eyes became narrow and her lips cracked a smile. Things were about to get interesting.
