Hana stepped out of the large southern style home, skipping the two steps and landing onto the dirt road. She walked briskly twords the fence that boarded the dark forest. Her boots picked up dust due to the fact that she was to lazy to pick up her feet. Hana could feel the breeze blow through her hair, she sniffed deeply. The usual leaves, a few vampires, a shifter, and the forest. It was a strange world we lived in. Hana shrugged and continued to walk. Hana Wilks

Heather walked along the edge of the forest. She was bored & wasn't really sure what to do. She always remembered walking with her friends but she wasn't sure where they all where at any more. She pulled out her ipod & turned on some music.

Hana turned her head at a new sound. Her eyes wandered to her boots, had she remembered to pack her knives? With a turn of her heal she could feel them, yes she had. When your Mother was a two thousand year old demon, she made sure you were taught how to defend your self. Hana stared inquisitively at a girl near by. She was new, and in a small town that was a big thing. "Hey!" Hana called, tilting her head. There was a new Shifter in Bon Temps. Hana Wilks

Heather looked in the direction that the voice came from. She saw a girl who looked like the same age as her. Heather took a short breath & found out that this other girl was a demon. "Hi" Heather called back, a little worried

Hana watched the girl for a moment, she was startled. Then again, who wouldn't be? Some random chick in a forest scares the the living daylights out of ya would make anyone worried. "Sorry if I startled y'all." The southern blood in her was unmistakable due to her slight accent. But in a southern state it was rare not to hear it. Hana knew the girl probably knew what she was, one could peg her as a drifter. Someones who's seen it all. "Its not very often that I run into a shifter. Usually its just a vamp."

Heather smiles, "Oh you didn't startle me. It's just hard for me to meet new people." Heather looked at the girl for a while, "Um what's you name?" she asked. For some reason she felt like she knew this girl, but maybe not. After all she had met plenty of people - human or not - on her travels.

[ooc:eh, screw the picture]
Hana smiled a little, "Hana Wilks. Sorry bout labeling ya, its just an old habit." She tilted her head, "Whats your name?" Demons-half or full-were very curios creatures. Her mother always said, 'curiosity killed the cat demon!' Helena was a strage woman, but her mother all the same. She taught Hana everything she knew. In a way. it made Hana miss her even more.

"My name is Heather Strife & as you said I am a shifter." Heather said putting her hands in her pockets. She carried an old back pack with her that carried her clothes, necessities, & a camara. She started to wonder if she heard Hana's name before.

Hana grinned, holding out her hand to shake. "Nice to meet cha." She took a breathe, they were the only ones in the area. "Do you wanna come in? I got a couple of cokes in the fridge." She jabbed her thumb over her shoulder, in the direction of an old victiorian style home with a large wrap around porch. It was homey, yet slightly creepy at the same time.

Heather grabbed Hana's hand smileing, "Sure, i'd love to join you." Heather looked at the house, she thought it was very pretty. "As long as you don't mind if I crash there for a while?" Heather had been traveling for almost three week & she needed to rest. She also had to check that she didn't lose any of her stuff.

Hana knew it wasn't the best idea, but something in her told her to trust what she hoped was her new friend. "Sure." Call it a gut instinct, but there was something in Heather that made her seem like a good person. Hana took a few steps back, still holding her hand. Then she turned around, giving Heathers arm a tug. "Come on." Hana grinned.

"I'm coming" Heather happly walked with Hana to her house. She didn't know Hana very well but she thought she was a nice person. Taking in a stranger, letting her into Hana's home. Heather was happy she had a friend now. When she made new friends she didn't feel so lonely.

Within a few steps they were at the porch. Instead of pulling out a key-which she usually forgets-Hana's eyes simply flashed red and the door opened. She grinned, "Being a half blood has its perks." Hana took a step into the hall way. A wrap around stair case was to the left, a couple of dusty pictures of her years ago, yet she looked the same was on a wall. There was a couple of doors on the wall and the end led into the kitchen. "Come on." She walked into the kitchen. A large island with a couple bar stools and the basic utensils.

Heather followed Hana into the kitchen & sat on one of the bar stools. She took off her bag& put it by her feet. She hadn't been inside a house for a while. She had seen many hotels, motels, apartments & camps but she had not been inside a house for a long time.
