Axel was born in 1248 to parents who hated everything supernatural. They often went on Vampire hunts and Axel, not knowing any other way, adopted this hatred for supernatural creatures. His parent were very well known and respected in the village of his birth. That meant that Axel was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was set to inherit all of his parents wealth and fortune once they had passed on and even from a young age Axel knew this and took advantage of his power in the village. He was not a very liked person amongst the poorer people but with the richer people, he was a role model to the other children. He often took pleasure in hurting people in front of others to show his power.
At the age of seventeen after leaving school, Axel decided to go away from his village for a few months and see the world. He had out grown most of his selfish behavior and was turning out to be a good man. He wanted to be able to see more of the world before he returned to his family. What he did not realize how ever was that the next time he would return to the village he would be unwelcome. He would be seen as a monster and chased out and would never be allowed to return. The first place he found himself residing was just a little house about twenty miles from his home town. It had been night fall and very dark and he had been forced to stop his travels for the night. The woman who resided in the house had more beauty in her than Axel had ever seen before and was convinced to stay the night. For most of the rest of the night he did not have a good memory of any events, as he had been glamour by the woman. The only real clear thing he remembered after arrival to her house was when he had been turned. When he realized he was the monster that his parents hunted. The vampire, who had turned him, Fae, helped him get through the tough realization and showed him the rope, taught him the rules and how to control himself.
He stayed with his maker for nearly one hundred solid years. He had grown very close to Fae and had come to terms with what he was and was starting to enjoy his immortality with her. This enjoyment however would be short lived as Fae was killed by a group of humans when Axel was away. Her death was a real blow to him and it was the main factor which caused him to become cold and hateful. He hunted down and killed each human that had been involved in her death and avenged her. As Axel was not used to being on his own after so long of companionship he found it hard to adjust to life with out Fae. He knew that he had to learn though because there was no bringing her back and Axel just got his head down and carried on with his life.
After a few hundred years of being on his own Axel had begun to calm down and was starting to find his older personality again. He still didn’t trust others much and he still acted cold and heartless towards people but once he decided they were reliable he let his guard down a little more and made a few connections in higher places. He had a few short term relationships along the way for a bit of companionship but he had never been in love with any of the girls he had been with. He had never experienced love before. He always found a reason to leave before he could get the chance.
