Personality: Maci hasn't got a taste for True blood. She prefers human blood, and that's what she drinks, but she always finds a willingly human, and never drains them enough to hurt them. But infront of humans she will suffer through True blood in order to make a good impression, her favorite blood type is AB- but she hates that it's so rare and hard to find. She supposed she likes that type the best because it was Godric's favorite as well.
She is a friendly girl, and a good sheriff, she hardly ever gives out sever sentences. She prefers to work with the person on what ever it is that they have done. Maci also has a gift for music, she loves singing and writing songs. She'd into all music, from country to death metal. She shares some of the beliefs of her maker Godric, in that humans and vampires can co exist peacefully.

History: During the winter of the year 1423 in Germany, a just married couple were blessed with a baby. They named her Maci Deshane, the family was a poor lower class one, with Maci's father working long hours to support his family, and Maci's mother working in the house all day cleaning and cooking. Even though Maci didn't have alot growing up, she had family. That was one of the things her parents made sure of. At the young age of 14 Maci's father hand picked his daughters husband, and married her off first chance he got. The man he picked was William Valo, he was a middle class man and he wouldn't allow Maci to take his last name. He treated her as a slave, and often beat her for her small mistakes.
One night while Maci was out, she found herself being pulled into a alley. There she came face to face with what was unknown to her at the time, a vampire. He told her his name was Godric, and that he'd been watching her for the past couple of months. He asked her if she wanted to escape her abusive husband in exchange for her life and mortality. Without so much as a second thought she answered yes. The first thing Maci did was go and beat, and kill her husband. After that she and her maker traveled around the world, going from place to place. Although German was Maci's native language she learned several others such as Finnish, Swedish, Spanish, and English. Maci traveled with her maker for almost two hundred years before the two went different ways.
Maci traveled on her own then, and eventfully made her way to America. Maci still has her German accent, and it's still as thick as it was when she left. Maci was offered the position of Sheriff of Area 10 which included Huston Texas, without thinking twice she took the job, she now lives in a huge house with several cars. Her house is vampire friendly, hosting the same technology as vampire hotels. .
