The shadows shifted as she walked through the forrest, her light shining her way as the tall fairy made her way towards the brightly lit bar. Leaves crackling under foot she laughed gently its sound crossing the breeze and hanging in the air like warm sunshine. Lifting her pale hand and pushing against the firm wood and glass doors she entered the brightly lit place and stood in the doorway, her smile huge as she walked to the bar and ordered a drink, slipping her dress up her long tan legs as she sat on a stool. Observing the people around her and enjoying the noises of the night.
"Thank you so much" she delighted in ordering and tasting the frothy drink placed in front of her, so full of life so tasty. Swinging her legs against the stool, she was the picture of a small child playing on a newly found swing set. She longed for company and watched the men in the room as they were drawn to her, but these were not the people she was searching for. Not the beautiful blonde whom she had watched for such an age.
(sorry if this is wrong, I hope I have made the right kind of thread, just wanted to introduce myself and start some RPG)

The Vampire King from Italy also made his way into Merlotte's on this night, which may be a faithful night yet. He was adorned in black and deep red, his jacket covering most of his form with its collar pointing upward and a burgundy scarf neatly wrapped around his neck. Leather gloves were slowly slid off his hands as he sat into a booth, being put down to rest as a young woman came over and he ordered a True Blood.
There was something in the air, it wasn't like a smell or a taste but it was something and it was there. He could feel it. Then his eyes fell on her. He didn't know who she was, but he knew he wanted to know her. There was something beautifully exotic about her. For now however, the nearly two and a half thousand year old just watched, waiting for his drink to arrive and of course, ignoring the worried looks from the ignorant rednecks.

Her nostrils flared as the night air lifted her hair off her neck, the door closing as it settled, she smelt the vampire immediately and shifted slightly in her stool, nervous of his reaction to her smell.
Turning her head she caught a glimpse of him and smiled, he was old school she thought to herself, his appearance and taste displaying the arrogance of his race. Her eyes followed the barmaid as she made her way back to the bar to fetch his drink, she smiled at the girl and caught her eyes, gently folding her hand over the bottle and releasing it from the girls grip with a simple wink.
The girl smiled in a dopey way and went back to her business, Claudine moved through the crowd, ignoring the way the men stared at her, one actually wolf whistling, his buddies laughing their courage wakening at his lurid attempt to gain her attention, ignoring them she slipped into the bar across from the vampire and slid him the bottle of True blood, her hands warming it.
"Good evening your highness" she smiled at the vampire, her eyes watching him carefully, ready to pop out of there quickly if he could not control his desire for her blood, but she needed information and wanted to make connections in this town, for now she would trust him until he showed her different.

The Irish ruler continued to watch occasionally, then something he rather didn't expect happened. She came to him, and with his drink in hand. The woman sat across from him, sliding him his drink and even referred to him as "your highness." Word must have been spreading.
"It would appear you have me at a disadvantage." replied the King. His eyes slowly blinked, like a dragon waking up from his nap early to deal with a pesky knight. His eyes ran over her appearance, there was both a wicked intellect and primal hunger in his scanning glare. "You.....are not a vampire....certainly more then human....not a wolf." There was something about her alright, something old and scented. "Not a witch......or something of their ilk....which must mean." It was something that wouldn't even occur to most vampires, but most vampires hadn't cultivated a family of her kind to act as his servants and food supply for the last thousand years or so. Sophie being his current.
The sleeping dragon (or perhaps crouching tiger) leaned forward in his seat, his eyes locking with hers as he spoke in a manner barely above a whisper. "Fae...." Oh yes, he recognized that elven beauty everywhere. It took all his willpower not to lick his lips in interest there and then.

His whole body seemed to tense as he leaned forward, the predator sweeping up to the fore, the bored expression replaced with one of almost desire, as a wolf would look at a lamb, but she was no lamb. Her pale hands shifted slightly under along the table moving carefully as he spoke, she leaned forward as he whispered the word "Fae" her hand reached up and with a single finger she poked softly at his lapel and whispered back, her lips almost touching his as she breathed "Clever boy" Giggling and breaking the spell she leaned back in her seat and placed her hands back in her lap, her smile wide and sparkly as she watched him. "Claudine to be exact She smiled knowing not to reach out a hand in offer of a shake, but simple bowing her head in the subtlest of tilts. Being so close to him she had smelt a hint of her race against his clothing, he was one who had dealt with her kind before, In what manner she was yet to know.. "And you are?, a king I can tell, but your name I know not" She asked with a happy lilt to her smile, the men behind her shifting as they spoke, she could hear their whispers describing her figure but continued to ignore them.

As she leaned back, so to did Ryan. Content to watch his interesting little find for now. How amusing it was that the vast majority of his kind could go their entire lives, hundreds if not thousands of years without ever coming across a fairy, and in life timetime he seemed to just bump into them. Was it mere coincidence? Maybe.
"I am Ryan." he replied, having been going by a modernized version of his name for decades now. Only his closest of friends referred to him as Ríoghan these days. "But what brings someone like you into a place like this?" asked the vampire, before taking up his drink and sipping gently on it. It was a putrid thing really, but it would suffice. Besides, it appeared like he might have something better to feed on.

"Ryan" she smiled "what a truly delightful Vampire name" The men behind her were becoming more and more aggressive with their leers towards her, she could see out of the corner of her eye one of them approaching the table, but became nervous at the sight of the man opposite her she titled her shoulders and waved at the waitress, the woman practically running to attend to the table in her area "Dearest, please could I have another of those delightful drinks with the little umbrella in it? and this one needs another Tru Blood it would seem" Claudine winked at the vampire as the waitress nodded almost speechless at the sight of the two beauties rushing off to attend to the drink Claudine turned back to her vampire guest "A place like this?" she grinned addressing his question "why the desire to be among the world is all, but I have a side mission as well" she leaned forward, her dress touching the linoleum table "Do you know a woman named Sookie?"

"Why thank you." Smiled back the Vampire. "I'm quite fond of it." Ryan continued. He did like the name, it was a Gaelic name meaning "King," so it was very suitable. When a pair of locals started to pull their stones together and decided that (being the tough men they were) would give the supernaturals and piece of their mind. What could only be described as a deathglare from the Vampire king seemed to leave them with slightly less courage and when Claudine called for the waitress they took the distraction to back off. For how long was another question.
"A woman named Sookie?" he asked, one eyebrow raised. He didn't know any Sookie, but if a fairy was looking for her he was interested. After all, why would a fairy be looking for a normal human? But one fairy looking for another one was a different thing altogether. "Why would you be looking for a woman named Sookie here?" he asked, one hand stroking at the well groomed facial on his chin.

Her eyes watched him as he moved, his gestures that of a panther, she did love to watch vampires, their movements and gestures so foreign to her. "she is a relation of mine.. of sorts" The fairy chuckled at the notion of her ageless self being related to a woman who was half human "I was told she works here is all" "Sookie you say?" A voice from behind their booth altered them to turn, a local his trucker cap low over his red rimmed eyes, drool pooling in the corners of his mouth as his checked arm wrapped itself around the plastic benches and pointed at Claudine "your a nissee looking lady" he uttered, burping against Ryans jacket "You shuldd stays away from that freak" his companions all laughed as Claudine raised an eyebrow, looking to Ryan she watched the vampire react to the situation. The man's eyes latched onto her ample cleavage and the drool almost spilt out "my you rooly are a verry purtty girl aint cha" his friends laughter heightened, the situation finally at a head.

It would take less then a fraction of effort for Ryan to paint the restaurant with the truckers blood, to tear him in half skewer his friends with his spine. It took significantly more effort not to do it. There was however, a rising urge to teach the trucker and his chuckling monkey companions a lesson. Back home the King was described as both brutally cunning and cunningly brutal, well people argued over which suited him more....and others argued which one meant what. Some people in his Kingdom had too much free time.
While Ryan could totally understand why the buffoon would take an eyeful of Claudine's cleavage, that did not mean as a gentleman he could allow it to happen, nor could he forgive the bumbling redreck for being so obvious about it. Enjoy the female form if you would, but have some subtly!
Rising from his table with a sudden motion Ryan walked around to the truckers booth, his face both stern and threatening. "Human, your insult to me and behaviour towards my female company is both crude and unwarranted. You will apologize to us both, buy us a drink for the inconvenience, or I shall expect you to step outside so we can deal with this like men." Back in one of Ryan's favourite periods he would have slapped him across the face with his glove and demanded a duel, these days the pugilistic arts solved these things. His eyes locked on the trucker, awaiting his response.

He seemed to sweep from his chair as he gallantly faced the men, though she thought to herself, its not all that gallant if you know you can kill them. The men watched the vampire with some disdain, the drunk who had warned them off Sookie stood up, wobbling slightly on his whiskey legs he waved a glass in the vampires face "youse vamps, yur all so fucking cocky" his friends cheered on his attempt and stood up as well, their natural fear of the creature muted from the alcohol. "I aint apologising to no whore" Claudine was out of her chair an in front of the men before the words fully left his mouth, her eyes blazing at the insult she stood in front of Ryan, pushing him aside gently with her hip as she locked onto the mans mind, her glamour rising as she began to weave her spell "Enough of this Stanley, you are better than this, your wife is at home waiting for you, she knows nothing of the woman you keep on the side, from now on you will stop cheating on her, respect women and never drink again, your friends will do the same" she raised her head, locking onto each pair of eyes that stared at her, capturing them all in the glamour "For now you will apologise to me, the waitress who's butt you have been pinching all night and you will wait in the trees outside, allowing this vampire to take a sip of your blood as a token of your apology" she kept her voice low, other patrons in the bar watched the scene, straining to hear her words "now all of you pay your tab and leave" Moving away from the men she slipped her arm through Ryans jacket and led him back to their booth, smiling and giving a small wave to the other patrons, who smiled back and went back to their drinks, happy. Sitting down she pulled the vampire with her and grinned at him "don;t make your drink wait too long out there, and don;t you dare kill him, his wife is pregnant" Happy in her handling she picked up her pink drink and sucked on the straw her bright eyes watching the men leave, hats off to the waitress and big tips all round.

The Vampire king watched, not all that sure how to react as Claudine sent them on their way. He could have glamoured them if he wanted, but he would have much rathered giving them a firm hiding. He had often heard humans complain on tv and what not that problems should be sorted by words, they praised feats of the mind over feats of strength. Well Ryan had spent as much time developed his physical power as he had his mental might. He saw no reason why not to use his physical ability as he saw fit.
When she tried to guide him back into the booth he allowed it, sliding back into his place. Although when she "don't you dare" his eyes quickly focused on her. "You are either very brave, very student or very interested to tell me what I dare to do, Claudine." he replied, his voice was low and sultry. "That man is lucky, I'm not interested in feeding to him. When you get to my age, a vampire requires truly little blood to survive." Another tip to her to indicate he was ancient as far as vampires go.
With her having pulled him down to the booth, it put her on the inside, stuck between a wall and the vampire king. His arm on her side reached up onto the back of the chair, his other hand resting casually on the table. "Are you not worried fairy?" he asked, leaning in so close he only had to whisper. "A beautiful fairy like yourself, a vampire like me......many would be worried for your safety." There was a hunger in his voice, if he was hungry for blood or something else was another thing altogether.

Raising her eyebrows and edging back from the vampire she smiled at him Text"oh dearest Ryan, I am a girl with many tastes but sadly vampires do nothing for me" his interest was not uncommon for the fairy, but she had gone years without any kind of romance and she intended to keep it that way. "Should I be worried?" her smile dazzled as the waitress swept their glasses away, swooning for a moment over Ryan's smoulder before ducking back into the bar area. Claudine looked around the room, the night was thinning as patrons were moving in and out of the bar. Her eyes swept the room before returning to her vampire lethario "as for my safety dearest, I can well and truly look after myself"

"You wound me Claudine. There's more to me then being just a vampire." Not that plenty of women, usually either humans or weres that were looking for a hit of V, would throw themselves at him simply for being a vampire. Even more so for the natural power he wore like a cloak due to his age. But at his age, he needed a challenge to help him feel alive!
"As it would happen, no you don't need to be worried. My....personal assistant is of your kind. I'm quite well fed on Fae blood....so I'm also aware that your people can protect yourselves quite well." he explained, his current aid being young Sophie. Like Claudine she was beautiful and strong willed.
"Tell me about yourself....I've met so few of your people, I am eager to know more." Humans were everywhere, like insects. Werewolves were plentiful if you knew where to look, but the fae were a rare breed to say the very least. Did Sophie and her ancestors form a good representation of her people?

Smiling at him and gently patting his jacket with her long fingered hand "I did not mean to wound dearest one, I am simply guarded around vampires, I have dealt with many who do not hold your... sense of power" She frowned at the request for information, her time during the fae wars had left her burnt to trust others, she respected and loved all creatures, or at least tried to in her quest to become an Angel, but speaking of herself was never easy. She looked him over, thinking of how much she needed a friend in this world and how much she needed to find a way to get involved in this town in particular, perhaps this king would fill that need "I do not know what it is you are looking for dear, but I can tell you some about my life in this world, I live with my brother Claude, he and I share a large home, I am here on a mission of sorts, but that is for me to know, my family are mostly in the other realm, but I visit more often than not" She was weary, it had been days since she had been back in the fairy realm and she could feel her normal glow fading at the lack of contact with the mystical home. "Is there more you wish to know?"
