Alyssa was just walked back to her car late on night, arms laden with shopping bags after having spent all afternoon at the mall and gotten the perfect paid of shoes! She was in a hurry since she was supposed to have been home hours ago and she ended up staying out much longer than expected. Midnight sales are the best, after all. She drove her car quietly through the street of Shreveport to her elegantly perched home.
She quietly walked into the front door, careful not too make enough noise to wake up the rest of the house. Alyssa was certain her parents were asleep by now. They didn't worry about her getting home late anymore, she was, after all, a fully grown woman. She dropped her bags on the floor of her door and kicked off her sandals. Hmmm, she thought as she felt her furry carpet on her feet that have been on heels for hours. She swiftly undressed and went to take a quick shower. Just as she was crossing the room, she turned around to look at her window. She had a really bad feeling that someone was watching her. She picked up a towel to cover herself up and went to the window to shut the blinds and went to take that shower.
A warm shower was exactly what she needed and, having dressed in her favorite white nightie, she jumped into bed and tried to get comfortable. Before she could, though, she heard tapping on her window. Alyssa Addison Baker

It was dark out by the time she was passing by, the sound of tire and asphalt grinding against each other alerted her to the presence of a person coming. The soft pattern of a fluttering heartbeat told her it was a human passing through in one of their auto mobiles; she scoffed silently to herself, just the thought of the modern age made her sick. Lorena loathed the new technology as much as she loathed that Stackhouse girl, and that’s saying something. Her throat burned and her body urged her to follow this human, she needed blood, fresh blood, because apparently that Tru Crap just not working anymore.
With her mind made up she quickly followed her new prey, the thought of getting fresh blood excited her more than anything, but the hunt also made her smirk in anticipation of what was to come. When the engine shut off she stayed behind on the other side of the house and out of sight, the jingle of keys suddenly confused her, should she attack now or wait and glamour prey into inviting her inside. The split second decision was enough to get her to move but by that time her new victim had already stepped pass the threshold. She waited by the door to see if the human would return, listening carefully the sound of a content sigh met her ears. Trying to get a closer look she made a quick glance into the window then returned to her waiting spot, nothing to special going on so she needs to hurry, because I’m hungry. A patient Lorena standing by the door heard prey move to the turn the shower on, about 25 minutes into it is when she got aggravated. Hundreds of year of living taught her patience but her throat was about to burst. She needed alleviation and she needed it now, waiting no longer she was glad to have heard to shower turn off as she tapped on the window a couple of time to get prey’s attention. She didn’t know why but the front door might have looked less suspicious and a smarter choice, anywho it chow time.

With a gasp, Alyssa saw a woman was at her window staring at her! Whoever this girl was, for she was not one the human had ever laid eyes on, was definitely more than a mortal; she was Vampire.
Alyssa let out a kind of shriek and sat up on her bed. She knew that vampires couldn't get into a house without an invitation. Needless to say, she had no intention of inviting this woman in. She certainly looked like she could finish off al of Alyssa's fresh A negative with a flash. There was something about this woman that made her look insane, even more so that most vampires.
Having taken everything off to take a shower, Alyssa was left without an ounce of silver on her. This was a scary though because, after all, vampires can glamour; who knew that the stranger can make her do. "Who the hell are you?" Alyssa called out. "What do you want?!" Alyssa Addison Baker

She was delighted to see prey assessing herself for a weapon that she didn’t have, the silver chains she saw earlier were now gone from her body and she hoped it remained that way. From there Lorena didn’t know how to proceed, she thought about galmouring her but from that distance she wasn’t sure about it efficiency. She looked down at herself and relalized that she still had on her clothes from 2 weeks ago, her traveling didn’t entail a shower and she never would sweat again so she didn’t think about her changing her clothes. A thought crossed her mind and it was put into play immediately. She already looked ragged and dirty maybe prey would be as kind to let her in for a bath, or a drink either would be nice. Then prey spoke up.
"Who the hell are you?" Prey called out. "What do you want?!"
“Ma’am.” Lorena called drawing out the word in hopes of it adding to her barely there innocence. Relying on something that might be non-existent wasn’t an exactly frequent thing Lorena did but she really needed the blood and that was clouding her judgment.
“I was hoping you would come down here to assist me, see I’ve been running from my ex for awhile now and I just wanted one bath so I might start on my travels again soon after” Lorena was seriously banking on prey to accept her in, and just hoping that she didn’t ask why she was at her window, but everyone knows nothing goes how it’s supposed to. So she waited while the frightened prey stared back at her. Surely she couldn’t know what Lorena was by now. No that’s impossible so she continued waiting.

Alyssa listened, practically paralyzed with fear. She held her blanket up to her chin like a little child afraid of the boogieman threatening to come out of the closet and attack her. In a way, this was worse. the boogieman was myth, at least as far as the humans knew. Vampires, on the other hand have been proven otherwise. And, the one outside her window was definitely a threat, that much Alyssa can tell despite her facade.
However, Alyssa found herself considering letting the stranger in. She was a closeted fangbanger and she has a soft spot for these magnificent creatures. If she was telling the truth, then she needed some help. It's the whole women-have-to-stick-together thing.
She took a deep breath and got out of bed. She didn't bother putting on a robe so the her thin nightdress hugged her curves leaving little for the imagination. Alyssa walked up to the window and slid up the blinds. There was only one thin piece of glass that was between her and a vampire she didn't know. Luckily, her window was the kind that you slide up and not the one you push open so she could open it without letting an inch of her out the threshold.
After a couple of minutes of silent thought, and being careful not to look at the vampire in the eye to avoid being glamoured, Alyssa inched the window up until it was open all the way. "I'm not sure of I should trust you," she told the woman. "There's a hose out back and I can toss out some soap." The words were out of her mouth before she realized it. She sounded ludicrous, even to herself and she wondered how the vampire would take it. Alyssa Addison Baker

Lorena saw prey hide behind the covers and she thought the human may have been too frightened to come and invite her. Then she saw it in her eyes, the resolve crumble like a stack of falling blocks. Prey made her way to the window and hesitantly opened it all the way. She was avoiding her gaze and Lorena could tell.
"I'm not sure of I should trust you," Prey said.
"There's a hose out back and I can toss out some soap." Lorena was baffled to say the least, she couldn’t believe a mortal human would “Toss her some Soap”. That was degrading but she needed the blood.
“Ok, thanks anything that would help.” She kept up her smile, hoping that since she took the bait of opening the window she might just invite her in as well, or maybe step outside. She made an effort while moving to look like the lost, starving human she was supposed to be and Lorena knew she wasn’t anything but damn perfect. She kept up the façade until she met the fence and unlatched it from the outside. Stepping into the backyard her nose was filled with the wonderful scent of humans and maybe a vampire, she wouldn’t let prey get her wet, with the hose but she would attack her as soon as she stepped foot out the back door.

Still unsure about whether she should trust the stranger or not, Alyssa took a step back from the window, intending to grab some soap and go downstairs to get the hose. She had second thoughts then, considering just letting the woman in and be done with it. A flag kept going up, though, telling her that if she did, something terrible was going to happen. She kenw exactly how dangerous some vampires were. It's just safer to assume that they were all like that.
"I'll meet you out back," she told the woman. Trusting that she could do her no hard since vampires can't come in unless invited, she turned her back on the visitor and headed to the back door, completely forgetting the soap she promised. She walked down the hall quietly, passing her parents' door, shut for the night. Alyssa was moving out in the next weeks but, for now, she had to be light on her feet when she walked around late at night. More so since she's associating with a vampire at the time.
Past the living dining room and through the kitchen, she found herself in the laundry room where the back door was situated. With trepidation, she opened the door carefully. "Hello?" she whispered, peeking into the night and careful not to step a toe past the door frame. Alyssa Addison Baker

She sensed the human before she actually heard her, and the need for blood kept her going, she needed to hurry up and drain the human though. She knew she was already getting suspicious and Lorena didn’t want something that could fight back right now, she needed quick and easy. Lorena continued around until she saw her by the back door, she noticed her posture and saw she was tense. Hmm tense would make the muscles a bunch up and the feeding wouldn’t be as satisfying but she would take what she could get.
Silently walking towards the human until they were face to face she could hear her heart speed up when she was in sight. “Hello there, thank you for helping me,” she got a little closer and they were only a couple of inches apart now. “Do you have any soap, or anything to wash myself with?”
This was the humanizing part, make herself look lonely and helpless until the human couldn’t resist but come out and help her. And when she did that would drain her pretty little body of every drop of blood. But she just wished that the human would hurry up, Lorena didn’t particularly like being in these filthy clothes and looking like trash, it just wasn’t her.

The woman standing in Alyssa's backyard looked absolutely pitiful. Her clothes looked like she's worn them for weeks and her hair had twigs and dirt in it. After having switched on the back light, she could see that her face had scratches and a tired look about it. Alyssa had always been raised to do good all that training is telling her to just invite the woman in. After all, not all vampires were as blood thirsty as they're made out to be.
She had opened her mouth to ask her to come in when the woman had asked her question and before she got the words out, she turned around to grab some soap from the downstairs bathroom. "Oh, I'm sorry!" she said instead. "I had forgotten."
Alyssa made her way into the bathroom just down the hall and, as she grabbed the soap dish, she got a look at her reflection in the mirror. It was as if her conscience was trying to get a hold of her, trying to remind her that if she let the vampire in, her family would be in danger, too. Walking back, Alyssa decided against her first plan of letting the girl in. Instead, slowly, she stepped past the threshold and handed the soap dish over. Alyssa Addison Baker
