Personality:
Bad ass is one way to describe this angry as hell vampire, he takes shit from no one and has no love for humanity. Street smart and sarcastic, he often uses humour to belittle people, though deep down he has a big heart. Refusing to bend to societies rules and regulations he likes to think of himself as the big bad. Revelling in blood spilling and torture he is infamous among the vampire world for his roles in many of the greater wars. His maker Maci is the only woman he has ever cared for but a part of him hates the control she has over him, constantly battling against his desire to be free and his will to love her and worship her. He hates Tru Blood and refuses to bend to the new regime, often being in trouble for killing and feeding off humans.

Tristan was a poor lower class man living in London England, his father had left when he was a very young boy, and his mother was deathly sick. Tristan worked long hours for very little pay to keep himself and his mother up and keep a roof over their head. Tristan's mother wanted her son to get married and have a family, and just become happy. But Tristan wasn't worried about any of that, all he cared about was his mother, and making sure that she got everything she needed.
Tristan's mother died because of her illness, and it almost destroyed him. After he buried her, he would go to her grave everyday and stay till nightfall. One night he was on his knees in front of his mothers grave, when he felt a hand placed on his shoulder. It was Maci, she told him that she had been watching him for the past couple of months, and that his love, and passion had interested her. She told him that she could give him a world that he'd never knew existed, and he didn't have to grow old and sick and die, like his mother had.
Tristan agreed and he was turned into a vampire. He and Maci traveled together for a long time, but then vampires 'came out of the coffin' and Maci expressed her views how they could be treated as equals, and Tristan told her he didn't think so, this turned into a disagreement. It was then Maci released him, and shortly after she became the Sheriff of Area 10.
