As soon as the sunset Maci had to leave Godric alone yet again. She apologized over and over to him, but he simply shook his head and told her that she had a duty as Sheriff, and he extended his stay with her a little longer because of her absents. He still found it slightly shocking that even after all these years, Maci was still fiercely loyal to him, but he knew it was only to be expected. After all they had the maker and progeny bond going on.
Godric looked around at her house, exploring it some if you will. He had been here a few nights already but never really walked all through it and got the feel for the house. It really was a nice house, it was very modern and hosted the same vampire friendly technology as the hotels did. Godric had called the hotel and they had sent a AB Negative girl over to the house.
Godric watched as she walked out of the door and left, he wiped the remaining blood off of his lips. Remembering if he was about 1000 years younger he would have ravished her and then drained her dry. Regret took over the vampire quickly as a frown came to his face, back then he truly was a monster. But he was doing his best now to make amens and treat humans as equals now, and he was glad that atlest one of his progeny's shared that triat. Some thing he failed to teach Eric.

A car pulled up outside the house, it was a vehicle silver in colour. A little joke from the owner. It was clearly owned by a person of prestige, it wasn't one you saw very often, its sporty curves and the perfect hum of its engine. It was the sort of car people keyed out of jealousy. However, the car was as inconsequential as an insect to its owner who, after the car slowed down emerged from the back. His driver would wait.
Ryan was adorned in his usual black and dark red colours, everything about his suit spoke of wealth, it was designer label, from Italy. A thick and soft jacket covered the black shirt underneath, a red cravat visible under his neck. He approached the door and a leather clad hand pressed the doorbell, his leather shoes made no noise on the porch. For a brief moment one finger ran across the brim of his hat, indeed he one might think he looked like what an Victorian Gentleman might wear if he was around in modern times and didn't want to utterly stick out.

Godric heard a car pull up the long drive way, quickly he made his way to the large window that was in the living room. He seen a rather expensive looking car, and a well dressed gentlemen get out and make his way to the door. Just by looking Godric could tell he was a vampire, he walked slowly toward the door until he heard the rhythm of the door bell fill his ears. Then within seconds he was standing infront of the door, his pale cold hand gripping the door knob and turning to put him face to face with the man he'd seen in the window.
He nodded slightly in greeting, looking over the man Godric realized that he knew him. They'd met in Italy, and Godric had also recently heard that he was now the king there. "Good Evening, It's a pleasure to see you again." He said politely. "I'm sorry to inform you. But if it is Maci you wish to see. She's not here at the moment." He moved out from infront of the door, and opened it wider. "But if you'd like to come in."

"Godric." Ryan started as he removed his hat and took in the sight of the seemingly young person in front of him. But he knew Godric was old, very old indeed. "No its not Maci I am here to see." he informed as nimble feet took him inside the house. "Lets just say it reached my ears you were around and since I'm in the neighborhood." he informed with a smile.
"Maci is a fine vampire, you should be proud to call her your progeny, as I'm sure you are. But there are so few of us of our age....how can I resist a visit?" They both pre-dated Jesus Christ, a claim few could make. Godric had an excellent manner about him Ryan, or rather Ríoghan as Godric would know him as all the old ones did, couldn't help but respect. Not to mention he was a brutal bastard back in the day.

"Ryan." Godric greeted nodding his head respectfully. Of course he knew that Rioghan was his real name, and Ryan was simply the modernized version of it. Godric's eyes watched him as he said that it wasn't Maci he was here to see. He could then pretty much guess the reason that this vampire was now standing before him. As he entered, Godric closed the door. He then made his way into the living room, and motioned to the seat across from him. "Please, have a seat." He nodded as Ryan stated the reason he was here, which Godric had guessed earlier. "I'm certainly glad that you decided to stop by."
Godric nodded once as he praised Maci, "I am quite proud of her." Godric was often asked which of his progeny's that he liked better. And he always answered the same way every time. He didn't favor one over the other, he liked both of the equally. He leaned back onto the soft leather of the chair he was sitting in. "She's out with her own progeny. My understanding is that he's got something of a wild streak in him." Godric hadn't met Maci's Progeny but only a couple of times. And it was clear that she had her hands full, Tristan didn't share Godric's and Maci's views as humans being treated equally, and Godric had heard that he had several humans at his dismay.
