HAIR Amalia's hair is a beautiful pale brown in colour - in the sunlight it almost looks like spun gold, while in shadow it's closer to a dark chestnut in colour. She wears it long, and usually never ties it back.
EYES Her eyes are a dark blue in colour, ringed with dark lashes.
HEIGHT She stands at around 5'6-5'7 in height
WEIGHT Being a supernatural of the Fairy species, she's relatively light, weighing only 110-120lbs

LIKES Like most from the Fairy realm, Amalia loves natural beauty - witnessing the sunrises and sunsets, all things green and growing, soft summer rain that falls lightly on skin like satin. While she does not like a lot of human food, she has developed a liking of strawberries, and sugar - like most fairies - including sweetened drinks consisting of soda water and fruit syrups. She enjoys laughter.
DISLIKES Vampires, werewolves, demons, those who would try to harm/kill her, hot summer days. Watching nature get destroyed while she is unable to help.
STRENGTHS Elves are very durable Supes - not only is it incredibly hard to kill one, but they have no susceptibility to iron. Physically stronger and faster than a human, their strength and speed is only rivalled by that of a vampire's, and like the Fairies they are descended from, Elves can possess a certain amount of sway over the elements. In Amalia's case, she is an earth manipulator, drawing her strength from the very ground beneath her feet.
WEAKNESSES Beheading an elf will surely kill one, as will draining one's body free of blood. Also, while they might not be weak towards iron, citrus fruit does cause a fair bit of harm - lemons and lime will surely kill an elf if one is brought into too close proximity for too long a time. her powers, also, are not limitless, and overusing any manipulation or powers of any type will drain her and leave her weak for a time.
OVERALL PERSONALITY Acting on her age, Amalia is a very wise and noble creature. Beautiful and engaging, she is very down to Earth, and in tune with all things to do with Nature. One would almost call her soft, weak hearted, but she is truly the opposite. While she may appear gentle and sweet, if tormented or goaded she - like most Fae species - has a dangerous side. Like a Fairy, she loves the thrill of danger, and of walking that slender line between pleasure and pain. She's caring and very energetic in that she will not hesitate to talk to someone, and at times she's been known to talk abundantly.
When around other Supes, she tries to keep her reserve, and acts as diplomatically as possible, unless they are a Fairy, or an Elf. She's very loyal and will stand by her friends and loved ones no matter what the consequences. If she believes you worthy of her loyalty, she'll be there for you through thick and thin, even to the point of losing her life to save yours.
A tender romantic at heart, Amalia does have a weakness for tawdry romance novels and will almost always have one in her purse, and beside her bedside table at night. She finds the idea of storybook romance thrilling, and is still waiting for the one to sweep her off her feet.

FAMILY Ilmari Hex - Amalia's younger sister by almost two thousand years. Only half Elf, Ilmari was born in the human world to a human mother - Delia, fathered by Elf prince Kree. Because they are only half siblings, Amalia does not spend much time with Ilmari for fear of dragging her into the world of the Supernatural, an act that Kree himself has asked her to follow.
Kree Hex - Amalia and Ilmari's father. Prince to the Elven kingdom within Faery and close to being 6000 years old, Kree was a proud warrior who fought diligently at the side of their fairy allies, namely Niall and his grandchildren, Claude and Claudine. He had been visiting his daughter in the human world when he met and fell in love with human Delia, and when his second daughter, Ilmari was born, he refused to have any contact with her, forbidding Amalia from the same contact.
Delia Richards - Ilmari's mother. While not actually related to her by blood, Amalia has met Delia, being the one to explain why Kree would not visit his daughter. She introduced herself to Delia in the hopes that in the future she might make contact with her sister, and the two keep in contact on a regular basis, discussing Ilmari.
HOME Town Amalia was born in the elven kingdom within Faery, but currently lives in Shreveport.
OVERALL HISTORYBorn within Faery in the elven kingdom, Amalia was witness to all of the comings and goings for not only the world of Faery, but the mortal plane also. She first traversed the rift between the two worlds shortly after she hit quadruple digits - over 1000, specifically - and while disgusted with the way the earth was being treated, found a fascination towards the human race, and an appreciation for the great beauty that was the frailty of planet Earth. For a time she walked the Earth, finding places of great beauty to spend time in, or places that needed aid where she could possibly use her manipulation skills to mend the earth and help it grow anew.
Shortly after her 2000 year, whilst living in the human world, her father announced that she had a younger, half sister, named Ilmari that had been borne to a human woman. Of course, news like this sent Amalia into all kinds of joy, joy that was dashed when her father, the prince of the elven kingdom at that time (making Amalia a princess in her own way), forbade her from ever making any contact with Delia - Ilmari's mother - and specifically Ilmari herself. Still, Amalia went behind her father's back and contacted Delia, and the two have become close friends. Still, she will not meet with Ilmari for fear of incurring her father's wrath.
During this time, while living in Shreveport, Amalia became aware of a half-Fae by the name of Jesse Matthews. She sought him out, and told him of what she was. The two have been the best of friends ever since. Amalia especially likes it because it gives her a chance to talk about Faery, as she has no other Supernatural friends.
