The sun had set long ago and music was blaring from one of the houses, someone's parents wasn't home and there was a party going one. Erica had been invited, so she arrived dressed in a short mini skirt, black heels, and a pink tank top. Her long flowing black hair was down and and was curled. She walked around the party a few times a drink in her hand. She took small sips of it, she wasn't drunk and didn't plan on getting that way. But some of the people here were completely trashed.
After she'd been there about a hour, her ex found her and started to get too friendly for Erica's liking. She left the house and started to walk the long walk to her house, she tried over and over to call Jt, but kept getting his voice mail. She rolled her eyes the horn dog that was her brother was probably screwing some new girl. The 17 year old kept walking down the dark streets, the heels killing her feet until she just took them off and started walking barefoot. Just as her luck had it, it started raining. "Son of a bitch!" she yelled out aggravated. As the rain pelted her, making her hair sick to her face.

He was just leaving the bar after a nice night out drinking and hanging with some of his friends, he was on his way home when the rain really picked up, he didn’t know if it was just bad luck or if the world was gonna end but it seemed like really bad weather. He slowed down to a more reasonable speed when he got in the suburbs, he didn’t need killed kids because was speeding on his record so he made sure to go slow. As he was turning the corner he thought he heard someone call him a bitch, he looked in his back seat just to make sure then peered out of his windows. Looking through the fogged and wet glass he saw a young girl, maybe 17 or 18 standing on the sidewalk soaking wet and cursing at the sky. He found the sight quite odd but he didn’t know how to react, should he go over to her and look like a rapist or just keep driving. He looked at the girl again then pressed the gas pedal accelerating until he was a safe distance away.
Once about a block away he got out of his car with an umbrella and started for the girl. On his way over the thoughts that something bad was going to happen or he would be seen as a pedophile raced through his head, but he brushed it aside as he neared her. Her hair was medium length and stuck to her face as the rain pelt their bodies insistently. “Excuse me Ma’am I’m seriously not a stalker or anything but I couldn’t help but notice that you were out here wet and looking like you’re about to die.” He kept his distance as not to scare her but stayed close enough so that she did know he was friendly.
“But I can wait here for someone to come and get you if that’s more comfortable.” Jason didn’t know what to say as the situation was very awkward, but he wait patiently for the girl to make up her mind, because it was getting really cold.
