OVERALL PERSONALITY Jack is a very complex person. He has seen many years go by and he's experienced heartbreak. Things like that aren't new to him. Jack was never really attracted to women, even when he was human. It was odd, but it happened. The man isn't very happy about being a vampire, but he doesn't let it get him down. He goes and kills whoever gets on his nerves.
Jack is bloodthirsty and powerful. He doesn't like when people mess with him or whatever he's claimed as his property, it makes him mad. When Jack is mad, the chance of you living to see tomorrow is slim to none. He doesn't let anyone push him around, and when angered he seems to black out and run on instinct. Even though Jack gets angered a lot, he's very caring under all that hair and bloodlust. He's gotten himself very attached to a boy named Nathan, and he finds himself coming alive when the boy's around. It's a foreign feeling for Jack, since his previous lover was destroyed in the sunlight, but this one he's going to keep no matter what it takes. [/center]

OVERALL HISTORYJohn Scott Williams was born over 2,000 years ago. He was born in London, England to Charles and Nancy Williams. He had a good childhood, but he wanted to be a soldier one day and he went into the army as soon as he could. There wasn't much known about this time in history, but John lived through it. Through his training from when he was eighteen to the age of twenty-four, Jack served under one man and one man alone. That man was a vampire, and he turned Jack after he had been mortally wounded in training when a new recruit ended up accidentally shooting him.
The man who turned him was John's lover for many years, Jack being the more dominant of the two of them, and soon enough when Caesar invaded England, Jack's lover was tricked out into the sunlight and he was destroyed. Since the death of his lover, Jack has wandered the world for the past almost 2000 years since his transformation. Jack remains cold and unfeeling to most people, not enjoying the presence of others-especially humans-he eventually came upon one of them in Bon Temps, Louisiana. The boy he'd found had just been brutally beaten and left to die, among other things that Jack doesn't want to speak of since he'd smelled the blood coming from that section of the boy's body.
Normally, Jack would have left the boy. He wouldn't have cared. But there was something about this one. When he called to John and begged him to help him, telling him he had a brother at home he needed to take care of, Jack felt the ice around his heart start to melt a bit. Jack demanded to know what the boy would do in return for him, and when the boy answered anything he decided he'd take him up on that offer. Jack took the boy home, to his brother, and found his name was Nathan. Jack took up residence in Bon Temps, intending to collect on that promise that Nathan had made him and to keep him for himself-forever.[/center]
