History: Amanda was born in the late 1800s with a single mother, her father was William Compton who didn’t know his wife was with child when he supposedly died in the war. Amanda grew up in an impoverished family because her mother didn’t have a job but she did try. Amanda’s siblings lived with their aunt but Amanda didn’t, she wanted to stay at the house that she grew up in and stay with her mom.
By the age of 17 Amanda had been working at a restaurant to help with money and her mom was very sick. One night she was flirted with a tall, dark and handsome man named Kirk. He said she was beautiful and knew his father was alive and wanted to show her a world very different from the human one. Amanda agreed and Kirk turned her. She woke up in a grave with him near and he explained everything. She wasn’t scared, because she knew that she was supposed to have a different life.
Amanda watched her mom and wished she could talk to her and tell her that she was leaving but she couldn’t. But she promised she would help with money. Kirk and Amanda travelled around America, feeding and being together, Amanda had sex with him because she honestly loved him. They stole money and Amanda always sent her portion to her mom.
Fast forward to present. Amanda has left Kirk for her own desires; he released her a year ago. She is now heading back home to Bon Temps for a new life and to meet her father, Bill Compton.
