Strange things have happened in Bon Temps, starting off with murders, then the arrival of Maryann, and now Russel Edgington, the vampire king who has taken interest in Sookie Stackhouse. Sookie has discovered that she has mystical powers, her true heritage as being part Faerie.
Unknowing to the residents of Bon Temps, another hell mouth opened just outside of town, in a place called Shreveport, Louisiana, where the effects of the hell mouth is spreading to Bon Temps. Rupert Giles had heard of this and went to investigate, coming to the conclusion that the Scooby gang needed to return to the states from The Slayer school in Rome. The Scooby gang had gotten a fairly large house to stay in while in Louisiana. Upon hearing this news, Angel and his team had moved to Shreveport for while with Buffy and the Scoobies to help take care of the new hell mouth.
Mean while after succeeding in stopping the apocalypse, Dean Winchester thought he had a break. It wasn’t until Sam had come back without a soul, that Dean started to worry and knew he needed to go back to hunting back on the job. He later learned from Castiel that Raphael was going to break all the seals again to restart the apocalypse. Crowley, fearful that this might happen again, returned Sam’s soul to him but it was too late. Raphael had opened the cage, freeing Lucifer and Michael into the world once more. Michael returned to Heaven, to wait for the opportune moment, and Lucifer roams the earth bringing back the chaos that he had once did a year ago.
